Very Happy Birthday

It's Thursday.  It's time for the last DTBST challenge (#244 Make a card for someone you love) of August at Sassy Studio Designs.  Where has this year gone?  I couldn't pick just one person that would fit the challenge, so I made a general "Fun" card.
I just got a bunch of DP packs at JoAnn's a few weeks ago when they were on sale for like $5 each (regularly $20 each).  So I used one of the packs.  I saw a card using a velum strip for the front sentiment and  liked the way it looked.

I'll be your Quarterback

Huddle up everyone.  It's the 3rd quarter (and the 3rd Thursday if the month), and we need to make a big play.  It's called "Create the Paper".  That's the Dare To Be Sassy Thursday challenge (#243) this week at Sassy Studio Designs.  You need to make at least 1 of the papers used on your project.  I decided to use the "Powder Puff Sassy" image.  So made some "football themed" background paper. (may now be available in the SSD store)

Get Fit

It's Thursday. It's time for the next Dare To Be Sassy Thursday challenge (#242) at Sassy Studio Designs.  The challenge this week is "Layer It Up" (3 or more Layers). I used a sketch from Split Coast Stampers (#499)

I turned the sketch 90 degrees and made it a easel card. I don't know if my card has 4 layers or 7 layers if you count the orange background layers separately.

Snowman Kisses

It's the first Thursday of August. And time for me to move to the DTBST team as a DT member with Sassy Studio Designs.  This week's Dare To Be Sassy Thursday challenge (#241) is Be Green (reuse/recycle something).  I thought about it for awhile.  And remembered I had some Hershey Kiss tags, that I saved from when I went on a Hershey Kiss binge. I covered a piece of card stock with adhesive and adhered rows of the tags.  It became one of the panels on my card.
