Just leave a comment on each of the blogs and you could win the image from that blog.  And if you comment on the SSD blog, you could win all of the images in this month's Release.

Haven't all of the project's so far been fabulous? And the rest are just as great. But while you're here, take a look at what I created.  I had the Ariel Pin Up image.

Read the Book

The second post in the same day.  This one has a card.  I played along again this week at the Hambo Hoedown.  Gotta love progressive challenges. It's great for you to get freebies and for the site to have their images used.  I've played along for quite a few months.  I look forward to seeing what the challenge is every Wednesday.
So this week the challenge was to "add your own sentiment".  And if you use a Hambo Stamps image, you get the next week's image free.  Here is what I created.

Monkeyin' Around

I think this is a first.  Posting a card for the Hambo Hoedown on the day it comes out.  Have you played the Hoedown?  It's a progressive challenge.  Play along by using a Hambo Stamps image and follow the challenge, and you get the next week's image free. This week's image is "Monkeyvine". And the challenge is to use your Punches.  My card this week is pretty simple.

We'll Miss You

I played along as part of the Sassy Studio DT with this week's challenge at Seems a Little Sketchy. It is sketch #39 this week and is sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs.  Here is the sketch.

So here's my take on it.

inside

Skin-E00, E11
Lips-R20, R22
Eyes-G02, G05, B02, B05

Cardstock-Recollections
Twine-Darice Baker's Twine in yellow/white
Brads-stash
Front sentiment-Computer generated
Inside sentiment- DCWV "Quote Reference Book" book 4 computer generated

I popped up the sentiment and images on homemade black foam squares.
I carried the main shapes from the front to the inside of the card.

The card is bigger than a normal A2 card. I made it 5 x 6 1/4.  It is proportional to a A2 card.  I made it bigger so I could make the images larger to color.

This was a fun sketch.

Thanx for looking and please comment.

Robot Motivation

Beep beep booop beep bop. (translation: "Join the Hambo Hoedown")  This week at the Hambo Hoedown. It's all about the robots and a sketch.  Here's the sketch for this week's challenge.

So here's what I came up with.

Stuff I Used:

DP-DCWV the Glitter stack
Cardstock-Recollections
Chrome paper-Recollections Foil paper
Lower panel-Carbon Fibre Vinyl
Sentiment-Hambo stamps

I used my Martha Stewart score pad to score lines into the back of the chrome panel to imitate welded panels.
I popped up the image and sentiment panels on homemade black foam squares.
I rotated the sentiment panel from the sketch.
I seem to be making quite a few limited color cards lately.

#1 Mom

First off, a Happy Mother's Day to all of the Mothers, Grandmothers, Grams, Grandmas, Nanas, etc. With out you, none of us would be here.  On to the challenge.  This week's challenge at Glitter n Sparkle is "Ribbon".  And is sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs.  Being a Sassy Studio Designs DT member, I thought I'd make my challenge entry a Mother's Day card in honor of my Mom and all the wonderful Mothers out there.
I made my card a center opening card.  The DP was from a card class I was to teach at a scrapbooking fundraiser for my High School's Band (which my niece is member of the Colorguard). So here's my card.

I popped up the image and sentiment on homemade pink foam squares.  And I printed a smaller Effie on the inside of the card.

Like I stated in my other post, I usually make a birthday card for a specific person and gear it towards them. This was different making a generic card.  But it was still fun.
Hope you like it.

A Gatsby Birthday

Time for a new challenge at C.R.A.F.T. challenges.  This time it's a Birthday challenge.  And a hop.  As a member of the Sassy Studio Designs DT,  I played along.  When I make a birthday card, it's usually for a specific person so I gear it towards them.  This was different making a general birthday card, but fun. So here's my card.

I got this at Michael's when they had about 8 different packs on sale for $5 each. And it's heavy paper. What a deal.

Rhinestones
The Recollections rhinestones are also from Michael's and were on Clearance for $0.99. I got them in purple and green.  I need to go back and get the other 3 patterns they had. (they'll probably be gone)  And the birthstone ones are from Pat Catan's.  They were only $0.25.  I got every color they had. (6 colors)

50 Shades of Dorothy

There's no place like home. And there's no place like Artistic Inspirations for a challenge. This week's challenge (#40) is "Monotone". Check it out here. When I think monotone, I think one color.  So that's what I made my card, one color.  I chose to use grey(s) as my color.  And what goes better with black and white, but a Sassy Dorothy image from the "Off to find a Wizard" digis by Sassy Studio Designs. So here's my take on the challenge.

inside

Stuff I Used:
Image-Dorothy Sassy digital stamp by Sassy Studio Designs
Colored with Copics (a very short list)
C1, C3, C5, C7
DP-DCWV the Glitter Stack
Cardstock-Recollections
Ribbon-k*i memories silver solid
Sentiment-Computer generated

I popped up the image on the front with homemade black foam squares. I wasn't going to because I wanted to try to keep the monotone theme.  And not have any fluctuation in layers.  But I seem to always have to pop something up.
I picked the DP because it reminded me of small rainbows (only shades of grey) to carry the "Wizard of Oz" theme.

Thanx for looking and please comment and follow so Dorothy can get back home.
