You're Sweet

Time for a new challenge at Incy Wincy Designs. The challenge is sponsored by

The challenge is "Inspired by your favorite Candy".  There really aren't many candies I don't like, so this was tough for me. Would I choose Reese's peanut butter cups, Good and Plenty, Nerds, Mallo Cups?  I decided to go with

Because the colors of the candy are only brown and white, I decided to add the blues from the box.

Stuff I Used:
Image-Mmmm Chocolate digital image by Polka Doodles
Colored with Copics
Skin-E00, E11
Hair-E35, E25, E27
Flowers/headband-B21, B24, B26, B32
Pants-B21, B32
Shirt-C1, C3, B21, B32
Shoes-N0, N2
Chocolate-E23, E25, C1, C3, E31, E53
DP-I created the Argyle paper on the computer. I created the nonpariel strip by photographing the actual nonpariels.
Card stock-Recollections
Highlights-Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
Edge inking-studio g chalk ink
Sentiments-(front) hand lettered, (inside) computer generated
I popped up the image & sentiment panels on homemade tan foam squares.  I added a smaller image and more DP on the inside.

Now it's your turn to break out your favorite candy and create something for the challenge.

Thanx for looking and please comment and follow.

The challenge is "All that Glitters".  I decided to make a twisted easel card.

Stuff I Used:
Image-Girl with hat & scarf digital by "art by miran"
Colored with Copics
Skin-E00, E11
Eyes-G03, G05
Hair-E53, E43, E57
Scarf / boots / mittens-B14, B18
Leggings-N0, N2
Hat / coat-paper pieced with N0, N2, B32, B45
DP-DCWV the Winter Wonder Stack
Embossing folder-Darice Snowflake folder
Glitter pen-Sakura Gelly Roll clear glitter pen
Snowflakes-Darice foam glitter snowflakes
Gem (on boot)-Darice birthstone gems (clear)

I added the clear glitter pen to the snowflakes on the embossed velum panel (it doesn't show well in the pictures), the glitter foam snowflakes, the gem on the boot and glitter on the DP (Brrrrrr & LET IT SNOW).
When I started coloring the image I didn't like the way it was turning out (I colored the face and hair 3 times).  Even when I was adding the shading on the paper piecing, I wasn't happy.  After I cut out the coat and hat and added it to the image with the rest of the coloring, I was happily surprised with how it looked. I popped up the image on homemade blue foam squares.

Now it's your turn to get your "Glitter" on. Hope you join us for the challenge.

Thanx for looking and please comment and follow.
