SSD November Release Day 3

So did you spend the night waiting in line to get that thing you and everyone else "Just Had To Have"? Or are you one who goes to the stores on Thanksgiving day?
Remember when stores were closed on Thanksgiving?  I remember years ago, one Thanksgiving morning, my sister and I decided we were going to get donuts.  We went to Dunkin Donuts and they were "Closed".  You know what? It didn't make us say "Well I'll never go there again since they are closed today". Enough of my ranting.  On to the reason for this post.
Today is day 3 of the teasers for the November hop and release at Sassy Studio Designs.

Hopefully you've been playing along and leaving your guesses. These seem to be a little harder this time around.
Here are the last 2 teasers.

Almost Here

Is anyone else excited for the second movie in the "Hunger Games" trilogy?  "Catching Fire" comes out Friday.

I was planning on going to the first show on Friday.  But the movie complex behind one of the malls has been advertising a "Hunger Games" marathon (like 2 movies is a marathon. hahaha) I stopped in yesterday to see how much tickets were and when the movies started.  I was expecting the first movie to be at 10PM and the new movie to be at midnight.  Well, I found out that the first movie (HG) is at 4:45PM and the new movie (CF) is right after at 7PM.  So I don't have to wait for Friday!  I got my tickets.  I'm hoping there are going to be people dressed up.  If there are, I'll take some pics and post them.

Comment and let me know what you thought of the movie after you see it.

A Pink Christmas

"I'm dreaming of a Pink Christmas."  If you want to think outside of the "Red and Green" box, this is the perfect challenge for you.  This week's Dare To Be Sassy Thursday challenge (#203) at Sassy Studio Designs is "Not Your Typical Christmas" (use any colors but Red and Green) As a SSD DT member, I joined in.

Stuff I Used:
Image-Snowman Pin Up digital image by Sassy Studio Designs
Colored with Copics
Skin-E00, E11
Lips-R20, R22
Hair-E35, E25, E27

DP-DCWV the Christmas Stack
Card stock-Recollections
Rhinestones-Michaels $1 bin purple
Snowflake punch
Glitter-"Studio g" (I used the pink)
Sentiment-Computer generated

I based the card on a layout from Freshly Made Sketches (#109). I modified it a bit.  I popped up the image panel on homemade purple foam squares.  I added a smaller image and more DP and glitter snowflakes on the inside.

What colors would you use for a Christmas card? Give it a try and join in with the challenge. You're going to make Christmas cards anyway.  Why not do something a little different. If you decide to give it away, I'm sure the recipient will love that you thought outside the "Red and Green" box.

Thanx for looking and please comment.
