A Box for my Heart

The challenge this time at Crafting with Dragonflies is to "Make a Box".  As a member of  Design Team at Sassy Studio Designs, I played along.  Usually when I make a project, it is for a specific purpose.  This time my project turned out to be more of a "artsy" piece.

I added the faux rivets with the tube from a pen with the point retracted.
I scanned the heart/clock sticker. Printed it out larger and covered it with Glossy Accents and cut it out.
I lined the box with red felt pieces.
I popped up the Tin Sassy image on homemade pink foam squares.

This was a fun project. It was the 2nd project that I made this month that wasn't a card. I think I may have to make more non-card projects.

Thanx for looking and please follow and comment.

Thank You x 3

Wow! I can't believe I won "Best in Show" at the Hambo Hoedown this past week.  I love their challenges.  Last week's challenge was to use a Hambo stamp image ( I got the "Bailey Rocks free since I played along the previous week) and "add some metal".  My submission post is here.   I thought I'd go a little different and make my card a "Double Dutch fold" card that I learned about at Split Coast Stampers. See it here

Thanks again to everyone.  Now it's off to start on this week's challenge.  Check it out here and play along.

Wild Thang

I played along again this week at the Hambo Hoedown.  See the challenge here. I love their challenges.  If you play along and follow the rules, you receive the following week's digi for free.  This week's digi was "Bailey Rocks".  You also had to add metal to the card.  I used 2 metal hearts that I colored with Copics to match the paper.  I also used copper foil paper. I made a Double Dutch fold card. I popped Bailey up. And his arm and guitar up again.  I created the sentiment on the computer.

Here's the card partially open.

Stuff I used:
Image- Bailey Rocks digital stamp by Hambo Stamps

Hearts: YR07, RV06
Silver Gel pen- American Crafts
DP- DCWV Glitter Mat Stack
Copper Foil paper-Recollections
