BGF- Bubble Gum Friends

It's Monday, that means a new challenge at Incy Wincy Designs.  And this week it's being sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs.  The challenge this week is "Ribbon, Fiber, Twine".  As a SSD DT member I played along.  I thought I'd use all three.

I ran a strip of felt through my 2 1/2" Xyron machine.  Adhered it to a piece of card stock and cut a 5/8" strip. Adhered it to the card and wrapped the ribbon around.  I popped up the image on homemade lt. blue foam squares.  I added a smaller image and more DP on the inside.

I cut all the DP and card stock pieces out of a different style of papers (more fall like).  I didn't like the colors.  So I re-cut everything with brighter papers.
Hopefully I did okay and have inspired you to play along this week at Incy Wincy Designs.

Thanx for looking and please comment.

The Librarian

What is the best name for a Librarian? (answer at bottom of post)

One of this week's sponsors at  {Pin}spirational Challenges (#81) is Sassy Studio Designs.  As a SSD DT member I played along.  Here is the challenge picture for this week.

A lot of things came to mind when I saw the pic.  But the main theme for me was Books and Adventure.  So that's what I based my card on.

Birthday Tink

It's time again for another "Dare To Be Sassy Thursday" at Sassy Studio Designs.  This week's challenge is to "Show Your True Colors" (use your favorite color combo).  My favorite color is blue.  But I always thought that the color combo of  "Purple and Lime Green" was a great combination.  So that's the combo I chose.

SO that's one of my favorite color combos.  What's yours? Join us at the Sassy Studio Designs DTBST challenge #186 this week.  You could win 2 free images.

As American as...

This is my 1st week as a DT member at Sassy Studio Designs on the "Dare To Be Sassy Thursday challenges".  I can't believe how fast the first 3 months have gone by.  Now I said it's on to the DTBST challenges.  This week's challenge was a "Patriotic" card (red, white and blue) in honor of the 4th of July here in the U.S.

I popped up the image and sentiment on foam squares.  I added a smaller image and more twine to the inside panel.  This was a fun card to make.  I like the effect of the spin art.  And it reminds me of fireworks.

Hope everyone has a Safe and Happy 4th of July.  Show your Patriotic spirit and join us at the SSD DTBST challenge this week.

Welcome. You should have arrived here from Jacki's Blog.  If not, you can go back to the start at SSD and follow along.  Aren't all of the DT's projects amazing.  Have you guessed what anniversary year each member used?
Well here's my card.

Can you guess the year I picked?  It "wood" be sweeter than "sugar" if you could win this image.
Now it's off to Debbie's Blog to see her fabulous creation. Don't forget to comment on all of the DT's projects.  And guess the year of each.  Finally head back to Sassy Studio Designs to finish out the Hop.

Thanx for looking and don't forget to comment.

Goldilocks

This week's challenge at C.R.A.F.T. challenges is "Queen for a day/Fantasy/Bling it up/Make believe".  It is being sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs. When I saw the challenge I knew the "Goldilocks Honey" would be perfect.  Isn't her hair something. I love coloring all the SSD images.

Gettin' Crafty

Thought I'd post something different than a card this time.  I took my niece to the mall for her birthday at the beginning of the month.  She turned 16 and started wearing small bows and flowers in her hair.  She bought some bows at Claire's.  They were on sale for 2/$5.  I told her I could make her some.  So on my next trip to Michaels,  JoAnn's and Pat Catan's I bought some ribbon and flowers.  I had some barrette clips and E6000 (love the stuff).  And here's some of what I came up with for her.

backs

I realized I made about 3 more that I forgot to take pictures of.
I also made a pair of spring/summer wreaths for the front doors.  Here's one.

Just thought I'd share. Thanx for looking and please comment.
