Grad Slider

This week Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring the weekly challenge at Artistic Inspirations Challenges (#100, that's right 100! ).  This week's theme is "Anything Goes". I thought with this being "Graduation" time of the year, I'd make a Graduation card.  I also decided to make it a "Double Slider" card.  I don't remember where I first saw how to make this type of card, but I've made a few of them in the past.

I redrew the balloon and colored them in CorelDRAW to match the DP. I printed them along with a smaller image and the sentiment on the base card stock.  I cut the card stock so it has a 3" front flap.  I popped up the image on foam squares.

It's the middle of the month again, and that means it's time for the next challenge at the Sassy Studio Designs Facebook Monthly Challenge.  This month it's the fabulous Sassy Showgirl image. And the theme is  "Your favorite Color Combo".
My favorite color is blue.  I like the combo of blue/black/silver.  As you can see by the graphics on my car.

When I saw the image, I got the idea to have them pulling on the words.  I continued the rope to connect with the letters.  I connected 2 A2 cards together to form the long card.

Not Too Shabby Looking

Happy Thursday.  You know what that means.  Time for the next Dare To Be Sassy Thursday challenge (#212) at Sassy Studio Designs.  The challenge this week is "Shabby Chic" or "Vintage" (make your projects in the shabby chic or vintage style).  I always have a challenge with this style. I have seen some amazing cards out there in this style.  But like I said, I always get stuck with this style.  Hopefully I did it justice.  Here's what I created.

Pink Effie

Were you as excited as I was for last Friday to arrive?  If you don't know what I'm speaking of, then I guess you're not a "Hunger Games" fan. Yes, the 2nd film (Catching Fire) came out. 

Back to the challenge.  Crafting from the Heart is starting a challenge today.  This is a their first challenge.  This time the challenge is "Anything Goes".  The challenge is being sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs.  As a SSD DT member I made a card for the challenge.
