Effie Thank You

It's Thursday. Time for the next Dare To Be Sassy Thursday challenge #308 "Give Thanks" at Sassy Studio Designs. At first I was just thinking "Thanksgiving" themed cards.  Then I thought, "Why not just a Thank You card".  So that's what I made.  And being that the last "Hunger Games" movie (Mockingjay part 2) comes out tomorrow, I thought I'd use an Effie Trinket image. I made a side step card this time.

Gobble, gobble, gobble.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends. It's time for the final Dare To Be Sassy Thursday at Sassy Studio Designs.  It's #257 (Give Thanks. Thanksgiving).  I decided to do like I have done all month and used the image from the following Friday's "Flashback Friday".  Starting tomorrow (11/28) and going until the following Thursday (12/4) you can pick up this image at a discount price.  The image is also to help celebrate the release of  "Hunger Games Mockingjay part 1"

I popped up the image panel on homemade pink foam squares.  I colored the light blue flower with a B00 Copic.  I added a smaller image and more DP on the inside.

Pink Effie

Were you as excited as I was for last Friday to arrive?  If you don't know what I'm speaking of, then I guess you're not a "Hunger Games" fan. Yes, the 2nd film (Catching Fire) came out. 

Back to the challenge.  Crafting from the Heart is starting a challenge today.  This is a their first challenge.  This time the challenge is "Anything Goes".  The challenge is being sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs.  As a SSD DT member I made a card for the challenge. And to commemorate "Catching Fire" coming out, I went with a "Effie Trinket" theme.
