I used the "Cancer Portrait" from the Zodiac series Lindsay has created.  I decided to create a double opening card.  The top portion opens from the top.  The lower portion opens from the left.

Belle of the Steps

Crafty Girls Challenges has their newest challenge (#16-Anything Goes) for the next fortnight. The challenge is being sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs.  As a SSD DT member I made a card for the challenge. I was inspired by the Summer 2014 issue of  "Cardmaker" magazine with the "Stair step" cards on the front.  So that's what I made.

Today is my sister's birthday.  Happy Birthday Wendy! It seems like I make all these cards for challenges, but when an event comes up (Birthday, Anniversary, etc) I can never seem to give the cards away. hahaha Does anyone else feel the same way or is it just me?  So I end up making a card for the celebration.

Ring in the New Year

Happy day after Christmas. Did everyone get everything they wanted?  Have you returned/exchanged everything you didn't? Penguin Cocoa

Congrats Grad

If you've noticed, I'm new to the Sassy Studio Designs Design team.  And if you noticed that, did you know that I am their  FIRST guy design team member.  Yep, the Sassy Sisters have a brother now.  I'm loving being their little brother and part of the team.
Back to the challenge.  It's a Bingo challenge.

I played along using the Ribbon, something RED, and Flowers. And I got the Cowardly Lion Sassy as my  image.  My Red is the ribbon, cardstock boarders, rhinesones and the image of the flowers.  What type of flowers come to mind when you think of the Land of Oz?  Of course that would be Poppies.  The poppies image is from a Poppies seed packet.  There is also a flower image in the brown DP background.
