I added the clear glitter pen to the snowflakes on the embossed velum panel (it doesn't show well in the pictures), the glitter foam snowflakes, the gem on the boot and glitter on the DP (Brrrrrr & LET IT SNOW).
When I started coloring the image I didn't like the way it was turning out (I colored the face and hair 3 times).  Even when I was adding the shading on the paper piecing, I wasn't happy.  After I cut out the coat and hat and added it to the image with the rest of the coloring, I was happily surprised with how it looked. I popped up the image on homemade blue foam squares.

Now it's your turn to get your "Glitter" on. Hope you join us for the challenge.

It's the last Thursday in February.  And time for the next Dare To Be Sassy Thursday challenge (#270) at Sassy Studio Designs.  This week the challenge is a Tic Tac Toe challenge.

I used the center vertical line.  But then realized that I also had the bottom horizontal line covered.  I made a "Vacation Journal" this time around.

Glitter Squares

It's May! We can finally put winter behind us and get ready for summer.  And summer means "Sunglasses".   So the "Dare To Be Sassy Thursday" challenge (#227)
at Sassy Studio Designs this week is "So Bright Gotta Wear Shades"- Make it Sparkle and Shine.  The first thing I thought of  was my Glitter tape.  So that's what I used.

Christmas Wreath

It's hard to believe that December is here already. Where did the year go? I'm just getting use to writing 2013! Oh well.  It's that time of the week we all know as Dare To Be Sassy Thursday (DTBST) at Sassy Studio Designs.  This week the challenge is #206 "Cut and Paste Paper Piecing (Use paper piecing on your project)
Here's what I created.  A center opening card.

I hope I've inspired you to get out your papers and scissors (or knife like I like to use) and get piecing.
This time of year, we need more "Peace/Piece" on Earth.
