Robot Motivation

Beep beep booop beep bop. (translation: "Join the Hambo Hoedown")  This week at the Hambo Hoedown. It's all about the robots and a sketch.  Here's the sketch for this week's challenge.

So here's what I came up with.

Stuff I Used:
Image-Robot digital image by Hambo Stamps
Colored with Copics
C1, C3, C5, C7, YR02, YR04, YR07
DP-DCWV the Glitter stack
Cardstock-Recollections
Chrome paper-Recollections Foil paper
Lower panel-Carbon Fibre Vinyl
Sentiment-Hambo stamps

I used my Martha Stewart score pad to score lines into the back of the chrome panel to imitate welded panels.
I popped up the image and sentiment panels on homemade black foam squares.
I rotated the sentiment panel from the sketch.
I seem to be making quite a few limited color cards lately.

Thanx for looking and please comment.

50 Shades of Dorothy

There's no place like home. And there's no place like Artistic Inspirations for a challenge. This week's challenge (#40) is "Monotone". Check it out here. When I think monotone, I think one color.  So that's what I made my card, one color.  I chose to use grey(s) as my color.  And what goes better with black and white, but a Sassy Dorothy image from the "Off to find a Wizard" digis by Sassy Studio Designs. So here's my take on the challenge.

Stuff I Used:
Image-Dorothy Sassy digital stamp by Sassy Studio Designs
Colored with Copics (a very short list)
C1, C3, C5, C7
DP-DCWV the Glitter Stack
Cardstock-Recollections
Ribbon-k*i memories silver solid
Sentiment-Computer generated

I popped up the image on the front with homemade black foam squares. I wasn't going to because I wanted to try to keep the monotone theme.  And not have any fluctuation in layers.  But I seem to always have to pop something up.
I picked the DP because it reminded me of small rainbows (only shades of grey) to carry the "Wizard of Oz" theme.

Thanx for looking and please comment and follow so Dorothy can get back home.

From the Web

It isn't a chapter from Charlotte's Web.  But it does have a pig and a spider.  It's just the latest challenge at the Hambo Hoedown. This week it's all about the webbing. You had to use some type of webbing.

inside

Stuff I Used:
Image-Spider from Spider Web digital image by Hambo Stamps
DP-DCWV the Glitter Mat Stack
Web-Martha Stewart Web ribbon
Sentiment-Spider Web digital by Hambo Stamps
Webs on sentiment-Black Le Pen
Fiskars corner rounder
I added Glossy Accent to the spider on the front and popped up the spider and sentiment panel on black foam squares.
I added a Hambo spider to theinside with a drawn silk line.
This was the first card I've done in a long time that I didn't have to color anything.  I like the black, white and silver together.

Thanx for looking and please comment.

Sister's Birthday

Here's the card I made for my Sister's Birthday on February 13th.  I thought I'd try making a card using black and white (and grays).  The digital image was free from Birdie Brown. Here is her site.  They have a challenge going on now. Check it out here.  The layout is based on Splitcoast Stampers Wed card sketch #422 (Here).  I popped the image up and the screen and bow tie were popped up more.

Colored with Copics
C1, C3, C5, C7, W1
